Devices to add, edit, delete or share devices.
Add a Device
Tap
and select a way to add device(s):
- Quick Add Device: Add a device by scanning its QR code without a cloud account. You need to enable Quick Add on the device and set a strong password first. Only live view, playback, alarm, and remote configuration are available for devices added in this way.
- Scan: Scan the device QR code. You need to log in to your cloud account first.
- Manual Add: Add a device by IP/Domain or EZDDNS.
- Auto Search in LAN: Search devices on the same network with your mobile phone.
Make sure the device and your mobile phone are connected to the same wireless router.
* You may enter the device register code manually if QR code scanning fails.
* Username and password: Enter the username and password of the device.
* Streaming Media Protocol: Default is recommended.
Edit Device List
The App limits the number of local devices and cloud devices to ensure smooth operation:
- Local device: Up to 64 can be added, including devices added via Quick Add Device.
- Cloud device: The App does not limit the number of added cloud devices but allows up to 64 cloud devices online. If more than 64 cloud devices are added, tap
, remove the temporarily unneeded, and add the needed. The removed devices are not deleted from your cloud account; they just cannot go online temporarily.
Share a Cloud Device
- Tap the cloud device.
- Tap
.
- Configure the sharing settings.
- Share To: Tap
and enter account in the pop-up dialog box.
- Valid Period: 30 days by default. The entered time should not be earlier than the current time.
- Sharing Permission: Configured user account(s) on the device. The shared user will have the corresponding permissions according to the user account you choose.
- Tap Share.
* Tap QR Code to generate a QR code. By scanning the QR code other users can share the device.
* For users whose service area is International, sharing is allowed only between users in the same region.
